About AKCI

The Korean Construction Association in Indonesia (Chairman: Lee Ki-hong) held the first half of 2022 workshop at Bogor Rainbow CC on the 16th. This workshop was held for the first time in two years due to COVID-19, and all member companies actively participated as if they had been waiting for it. The attendance of about 60 people, including Director of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kim Dong-jin, Director of Labor, and veterans of the Korean Construction Association in Indonesia, including President Choi Woo-beom of Kyungheung, President Choi Byeong-woo of ANEKA, President Jeon Min-sik of Powertech, and heads of corporations and local companies that have advanced into Indonesia and are actively working, opened a communication channel for the Korean Construction Association in Indonesia after a long time. In addition, a new executive committee was reorganized to open a more active and vibrant communication channel in 2022.

The new executive board includes Chairman Lee Ki-hong (TSP), Senior Vice Chairman Kim Eun-seop (Doosan Energy Branch Manager), Vice Chairman/Secretary General Park Geon-woo (Director of Hans Jaya Utama), Vice Chairman Noh Jae-hak (Hyundai Engineering & Construction Branch Manager), Vice Chairman Hwang Eui-seok (CEO of SSA), and Vice Chairman Kim Seung-yong (CEO of Geumgang KIND). They plan to create a new world and a new construction industry council after Corona.

We believe that this first half of the workshop will be an opportunity to divide the pre-Corona era and the post-Corona era. Meanwhile, the Korean Construction Industry Council in Indonesia was established in 2004, began its activities with the enactment of the Articles of Association, and has been active for 19 years this year. It has contributed to Korea’s pride and export increase by playing a major role and establishing itself in major projects in Indonesia. In addition, it is achieving outstanding results in each field and region while fiercely competing for orders with China, Japan, and Singapore. We expect that the members of the Indonesian-Korean Construction Association will run and run through the remote and undeveloped areas of Indonesia without hesitation, and win in the fierce competition of each country with their hot sweat, passion, and heavy breathing, and that they will become the vanguard of Korean companies in Indonesia based on mutual benefit, cooperation, and communication
